Unlike traditional efficiency programs that require ongoing management by municipal sponsors, the majority of the work is completed up-front by the MyHEAT team during data collection and processing. Data are collected in just a few hours during a city flyover, and with this large-scale data collection method the cost of implementing MyHEAT, on a per building basis, is roughly 1% of the cost of individual home energy audits.
