A New Approach To Home Modernization - Press Release
A new partnership between MyHEAT and Abode Energy to support the MassCEC Home Modernization Navigator Program.
Abode Energy Management and MyHEAT Announce Partnership for MassCEC Home Modernization Navigator Program
Concord, MA, and Calgary, AB – September 29th, 2026
Abode Energy Management (Abode) and MyHEAT Imagery Inc. (MyHEAT) today announced a strategic partnership to launch a pilot project supporting the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) Navigator Program. The initiative leverages aerial thermal imaging of building envelopes to enhance customer targeting and engagement, and promote energy efficiency upgrades in key Massachusetts communities.
The pilot program focuses on the towns of Chelsea, Lowell, and Lynn, encompassing approximately 98,000 residential buildings, including single-family, multifamily, and mobile homes. By integrating MyHEAT’s proprietary building-level thermal heat loss profiles and ratings, Abode and its outreach partners will execute a data-driven approach to identify optimal candidates for energy efficiency interventions.
To help customers better understand the link between a home’s heat loss and energy costs, this collaboration will equip community outreach teams with MyHEAT insights about the home’s building envelope performance. This “thermal intelligence” will be activated across various engagement channels, including community events, digital and print marketing, and personalized consultations.
A unique and personalized Heat Loss Profile is available for Massachusetts residents in this partnership

Comments from MyHEAT and Abode
“MyHEAT transforms how residents see their home’s energy use, and that visibility can drive action. In this pilot, we’re testing whether personalized energy data increases interest in our consultations, during which Navigator advisors help residents reduce energy bills, improve home comfort, and build climate resilience. Early results from Chelsea, Lynn, and Lowell will guide our broader strategy,” said Elizabeth Stagg, Senior Program Manager at Abode Energy Management.
“By showing residents exactly where their homes are losing heat, we can have more meaningful conversations about energy efficiency and the benefits of the MassCEC Navigator Program.” said Ian Maddock, Chief Revenue Officer at MyHEAT.
Maddock added, “We are thrilled to partner with Abode Energy Management. Our thermal data provides a unique and personalized understanding of energy use to residents. We look forward to demonstrating how this visual approach increases engagement and drives measurable energy savings within these communities.”

About MyHEAT Imagery Inc.
MyHEAT uses aerial heat loss mapping (thermal infrared) to measure building envelope performance for residential and commercial sectors at city-scale.
MyHEAT’s proprietary machine learning and artificial intelligence creates a suite of insights and actionable data from thermal imaging, which can quantify the amount of heat loss in buildings, and identify where that heat loss is occurring.
The resulting software platform is used by energy providers, municipalities, and program implementers to optimize customer engagement, target energy efficiency programs, and accelerate decarbonization efforts.
